Pockit

Terms of Use

Effective 4 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Wisam Armaly (“we”, “us”), the developer of Pockit. By using Pockit you agree to them.

What Pockit is

Pockit is a free app for keeping track of your own spending. It shows you figures worked out from what you enter. It is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Figures are only as accurate as the information they come from. Check anything important against your bank or card statements.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. Keep your device and Apple ID secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

Your data

What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Pockit for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app.

Shared spaces

When you share a space, its members see what is in it. Only invite people you trust, and only add what you are entitled to share. Amounts shown as owed between people are a record you keep together, not a debt we enforce or collect.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Pockit: no attempts to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop Pockit or any feature. If we decide to shut Pockit down, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can take your data out. We may update these terms; if you keep using Pockit after a change, the new terms apply.

Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

No warranty

Pockit is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its figures will be correct.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for financial decisions made using Pockit, and our total liability is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Pockit or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it — including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that it infringes someone else’s intellectual property. If Pockit fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow Apple’s own terms when using the App Store.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv–Jaffa have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your country gives you and can bring claims in your local courts.
